Will Bronze Baobab fit what you are looking for?
If you believe that people learn best when they are actively involved, that meaningful change happens through experience, and that growth can be both serious and fun — we might just be a good fit.
Bronze Baobab is a proudly South African people development and experiential learning company.
We design and deliver training, development, facilitation and coaching programmes that help people grow — as individuals, leaders, teams and communities.
Our work focuses on developing the social, emotional and spiritual wealth of people and the organisations and communities in which they live and work.
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We work with our clients to understand their world, identify what they need and create experiences and programmes that are relevant to their context.
The Bronze Baobab story began in 2005, when we wrote our first book, Reviewing Really Rocks.
That book captured an important discovery that continues to shape our work today:
People learn differently when they are part of the experience.
Over the years, this insight grew into a distinctive approach to experiential learning, facilitation and development.
We have trained and worked with people in businesses, churches, schools, NGOs and other organisations — always looking for creative ways to turn learning into meaningful experience and experience into growth.
We would rather tell you the rest of the story face to face than through a barrage of advertising. That's why you are unlikely to find Bronze Baobab splashed across billboards or advertising prolifically across every medium.
We prefer to let our work tell our story.
Between us, we bring more than 30 years of experience in developing and coaching people — as individuals, groups, teams and systems.
What still excites us is seeing what happens when people are given the opportunity and the tools to discover their own potential.
Sometimes the most powerful learning happens in unexpected places: a game that suddenly becomes a profound conversation; an ordinary team-building activity that opens the door to a difficult but necessary discussion; or a shared experience that changes the way people see themselves and one another.
We believe that people have more potential than they often realise.
Our role is not to tell them what that potential is.
Our role is to create the space and the experiences that help them discover it for themselves.

We call what we do experiential learning.
Instead of simply standing in front of a group and telling people what they need to know, we create opportunities for people to experience, participate, reflect, connect and learn.
Our programmes may include games, simulations, stories, challenges, music, movement, creative activities, conversation and reflection.
But the activity is never the point.
The experience is the doorway to the learning.
We use creative experiences to help people explore deeper questions, understand themselves and others, strengthen relationships, solve problems, develop new perspectives and discover new possibilities.
And because every group is different, we don't simply take a programme off the shelf and deliver it.
We work with our clients to shape the learning around their people, their context and their needs.
If you are looking for someone to stand in front of your people and deliver another PowerPoint presentation, we may not be the right fit.
